A New Chapter for Aulæ: Why We Rebuilt the Site From the Ground Up

If you have visited aulae.shop before today, you will notice that something is different.

Not just different — better. And the difference is intentional in every detail.

This post is about why we rebuilt the site, what we set out to achieve, and what you will find now that wasn't there before.

Why We Decided to Start Over

Aulæ has always been about one thing: making genuine luxury accessible, with the kind of trust and transparency that the big platforms rarely offer.

The previous version of the site worked. But working is not the same as being right.

As the catalog grew and the brand evolved, it became clear that the site was not fully reflecting what Aulæ had become. The experience was functional, but it wasn't communicating what we needed it to communicate — that this is a serious operation, built around quality, authenticity, and attention to detail.

In the luxury market, how you present yourself matters as much as what you sell. A brand that claims to offer the best of European luxury should look and feel like it means it.

So we rebuilt.

What We Set Out to Build

The brief was clear from the beginning: minimal, elegant, and fast. Every element on the page had to earn its place.

We did not want a site that tries to impress through complexity. We wanted a site that communicates trust through restraint — clean lines, considered typography, an experience that puts the product first and gets out of the way.

The work was led by Simone and a dedicated team of specialists — people who work specifically on branding, visual identity, and digital experience. Not generalists. People who have spent years understanding what makes a luxury brand feel like a luxury brand online.

Every detail was worked through carefully. Nothing was left to default settings or template decisions.

What Is New

A cleaner, more elegant design.
The new site is visually leaner than the previous version. Less noise, more focus. The experience is built around the product — which is where your attention should be, not on the interface around it.

A faster, more reliable experience.
Significant technical work went into the rebuild. Pages load faster. The mobile experience has been substantially improved. Navigation is cleaner and more intuitive.

A catalog that updates automatically.
One of the most important technical improvements is invisible to most users — but it changes everything about how the site works. The catalog now updates automatically as stock changes. When a new piece is added, it appears immediately in the right place. When something sells, it's gone. The experience you get is always current, always accurate.

A site built to communicate trust.
Every design decision in the new site was made with one question in mind: does this make a first-time visitor more or less likely to trust what they're seeing? Trust is built through details — through consistency, through clarity, through the feeling that someone who cares about quality made every choice deliberately.

That is what we set out to build. We believe we got there.

New Brands in the Catalog

The site launch coincides with the addition of new brands to the Aulæ catalog.

You will now find pieces from Colmar, Coccinelle, and Zanotti — each selected through the same verification process that applies to everything on the site. Authentic pieces, honestly described, at outlet prices.

The catalog continues to grow. As always, when something is gone, it's gone — we don't restock with alternatives to fill the gap.

A Note on What Hasn't Changed

The new site looks different. The experience is better. The catalog is broader.

But the things that matter most have not changed.

Every piece is still checked before it goes online. Every product description is still written honestly. Every question before purchase still gets a real answer from a real person.

The process that sits behind what you see on the site — the sourcing, the authentication, the commitment to transparency — remains exactly as it was. The site is new. The standards are not.

Thank You

To everyone who has shopped with Aulæ since the beginning — thank you. You bought from a store you had never heard of, on the basis of a promise we were still building the infrastructure to support fully.

This site is part of delivering on that promise.

We hope you like it.
